Coldplay's Cemeteries of London=Scarborough Fair?
I would put this is a 4/10 review with a hefty dose of sarcasm, but I can't be arsed...Listen/Download:
"Cemeteries of London"
[Band Wiki]
"Scarborough Fair" (Simon and Garfunkel Version)
[Song Wiki]
And, just for fun..."Elizabeth My Dear" by The Stone Roses
Labels: coldplay, simon and garfunkel, stone roses

A bit of an unfair comparison, non? While both Scarborough and Elizabeth are great tunes (well, alright, the same great tune) the new Coldplay song has no tune at all. A bit like comparing chalk and ... paler, less expensive chalk.
Nice to see that despite all of the promotional fluff Chris Martin and cohorts are currently spinning to the media about how they sweated blood seeking out a new sound etc, they are still delivering the same old crap. I hope Brian Eno enjoys the money he made off them. Certainly nobody else has any reason to celebrate this atrocity.
4 out of 10 ? Way too kind.
what a load of bollocks.
I'd rather eat shit out of a horse's dick than listen to this.
